Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your access to and use of ReviewShield (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you accept on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.

2. Google Business Profile disclaimer

ReviewShield is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by or certified by Google LLC. "Google", "Google Business Profile" and "Google Maps" are trademarks of Google LLC.

We cannot guarantee the removal of any review. All removal decisions are made solely by Google under its own policies and timelines. ReviewShield helps you identify likely policy violations and prepare a well-evidenced appeal; the outcome is outside our control. We do not create, buy, incentivise or suppress reviews, and we do not engage in any activity that violates Google's prohibited and restricted content policies.

Your use of Google services through the Service remains subject to Google's own terms and policies. If Google changes its APIs, policies or access, features may change or be withdrawn.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.

4. Subscriptions and billing

  • Plans: Single Location at $21/month and Multi-Location / Agency at $79/month, or the local currency equivalent shown at checkout.
  • New accounts may start a 7-day free trial. Unless cancelled before it ends, the trial converts to a paid subscription and your payment method is charged.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. Prices exclude taxes unless stated otherwise.
  • Plan limits apply, including connected locations and monthly dispute packages. Exceeding them may require an upgrade.
  • We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice, effective at your next renewal.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Submit false statements or fabricated evidence in dispute packages.
  • Use the Service to harass, defame or retaliate against reviewers.
  • Attempt to remove reviews that are genuine and policy-compliant.
  • Connect business profiles you do not own or are not authorised to manage.
  • Reverse engineer, resell or overload the Service or its APIs.

We may suspend accounts that breach these rules.

6. AI-generated content

Draft replies and appeal letters are generated by automated systems and may contain errors or inaccurate statements. You are responsible for reviewing and editing all output before publishing or submitting it, and you remain solely liable for the content you publish.

7. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you provide. You grant us a limited licence to host and process it solely to operate the Service. You confirm you have the rights to any content and evidence you upload.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design and templates, remains our property. No rights are granted other than the limited right to use the Service under these Terms.

9. No legal advice

ReviewShield is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Appeal letters and policy citations are informational templates. Consult a qualified lawyer for defamation, litigation or regulatory matters.

10. Availability and support

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, third-party outages and force majeure events may cause downtime.

11. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid in that period.

12. Termination

You may cancel at any time from the billing page. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or non-payment. On termination your data is handled per our Privacy Policy.

13. Changes and governing law

We may update these Terms and will post the revised version here. Continued use means acceptance. Disputes are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which ReviewShield is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
